Westminster, CO October 28-29, 2009 Pre-Halloween Snowstorm
These are the some photos I took our first year in Colorado in our first Colorado snowstorm. Of course I was on my own for that one and work was not canceled to my surprise. I can’t say I miss the three feet of snow we had in this storm or the bitter cold temperatures of the Rockies.
“Can you believe all this snow, Jack?” Ump asked down the ledge.
“No! And it’s not even Halloween yet!” Jackie interrupted
“Well, in this icebox we’ll last well past Halloween Jackie.” Jack finally responded, giving Jackie a leering sideways glare.
“Why do they even bother cleaning off the car, that little thing has no chance.” Pimmy mused to anyone listening, just wanting to be part of the conversation.
“Oh, these humans, they think they are masters of the environment when they are more likely to get stuck in snow drift this morning.” Lat knowingly replied.
“Silly humans!” Pimmy giggled.
