David paced by the dinner table. I am starving, he mused.
Impatient for night to fall, David set the table for five. He completed his task and smiled as he thought of his dinner guests. They are going to be surprised.
Yes, surprised that each of them had received an invitation for a dinner in their honor. But every more surprised that there in fact was no food.
Well, no human food, David laughed out loud revealing his fangs to the growing darkness.
David finished delighting in his devilish plots and composed himself as the his first dinner guest arrived.
